As you know most of the culture of the various Native American groups has been lost due to different agents and factors. The focus of our group is to try to preserve what is left of them and also to learn and rescue some other aspects of  them including their values. We share them and frame them in a way that may be relevant in today's world. We have learned that one of the strongest values across different groups in the Americas is the respect for Nature

In our group we have participants from various Indigenous nations such the Totonacs, Aztecs, Purepexas, and Huicholes from Mexico as well as Apache and Pueblo Nations from USA.

Chanson du Chat is a gypsy jazz style trio/quartet/quintet led by guitarist John Papadolias.  Steeped in 1930s style of gypsy swing paying homage to Django Reinhardt & Stephane Grappelli with the Quintet of the Hot Club of France, Chanson du Chat plays lively and energetic music that turns heads.

Featured members are Dave Bowers and John Papadolias on guitars, Chad Watson on upright bass, and Jim LeFager on drums and percussion, Chanson du Chat performs standards of the gypsy swing era, the Edith Piaf songbook as well as jazz standards and original compositions.

Simply Destinee is a youth inspired Dance Team that promotes suicide awareness in Memory of Destinee A. Oliva.

The Hix Brothers Ukulele Band was formed in 2011 at Hix Brothers Music in Aurora.   The group has grown to more than 30 members of all ages who meet once or twice a week to learn new songs and practice.  The Ukulele Band, led by Carl Hix, plays a wide variety of songs:   Hawaiian, rock and roll, songs from the “Great American Songbook”, contemporary songwriters, even a show tune now and then.

Al “Hurricane” Spears is a working Chicago blues musician currently playing guitar with “The Hurricane Project”.  Being a Chicago Blues musician carries the responsibility of continuing the legacy of some of the worlds renowned Blues artists, and “Hurricane” is a blues guitarist who embraces this legacy by promoting the Blues art form wherever he can.

Hurricane works hard to keep the blues art form alive. He operated three of the longest running blues jams in the western suburbs, in an effort to keep this great music in front of the public.

Good-time family band SM6 is George (keys, violin, ukulele, vocals), Isabel (vocals, bass, ukulele), Adam (guitar, vocals), Emily (drums, ukulele, vocals), Eliana (percussion) and Jack (ukulele, steel pan, vocals), a tight-knit group of siblings who put out high-energy songs with catchy melodies, ear-pleasing harmonies, dance-worthy rhythms and relatable lyrics that celebrate their love of spreading joy through music. Wise beyond their years with a thoughtful, playful approach to writing and arrangements, the group performs a combination of imaginative covers and fresh originals that ring out with elements of indie pop, rock and folk.
