Here's some great news for our District 4 West Aurora Business District. Lindsay Window Company is considering moving its operations from North Aurora to the old Cub Foods building at Constitution and Galena. This will bring about 50 new jobs to the West Side and turn this ghost town into a thriving business. Congratulations to Alderman Carl Franco for helping to make this deal happen.

I know we all have concerns about traffic and noise. The deal includes a rule that all trucks must use Galena and no subdivision streets. Plus, as Carl said, their facility in North Aurora passed the "sniff test", so there will be no pollution to worry about. Many of you have talked to me about your concerns about the west side business district. I hope we can all be glad and call this progress. If you have any concerns and would like to talk to me about this project, please call me at 630-605-9244. Please vote for me for Kane County Board District 4 on November 3rd. Remember early voting starts on September 24th.
